Fusion Gitana Cultural Dance Exchange

The Fusion Gitana Cultural Dance Exchange (FGCDE) is our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The purpose of our organization is to educate the community on the arts and culture of different countries through dance.  Encourage dancers of all ages to overcome fears and to better understand common humanity.

Dancing builds self-esteem, confidence, social skills, discipline, physical health and much more. We want to help children and adults of all ages to fulfill their performing arts dreams.

With the high cost of living in South Florida, there is a huge need for funding to financially support children and families in our community who want to dance.  FGCDE was created in an effort to continue to provide free weekly dance classes to children and their guardians in our community.  We also provide scholarships to adults who may not have the financial resources to take dance classes.

We also offer dance performances, training and outreach programs.

“To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful.. This is power, it is glory on earth and it is yours for the taking”
Agnes De Mille

Funds are generated by dance productions, specialty dance workshops, holding fund-raisers and partnering with businesses in the community that share an interest in our activities.

Our organization has four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer)

all of whom volunteer 100% of their time to the organization.
