Workshop 1: Cairo Classics Signature stylings of Suheir Zaki, Nagwa Fouad, and Fifi Abdo Step into the timeless elegance of the Classic style. We’ll study the iconic elements that made Suheir, Nagwa, and Fifi unforgettable, their musicality, movement quality, and emotional interpretation. Learn how these legends shaped the development of Raqs Sharqi and how to infuse their influence into your own personal style. Workshop 2: Retro Style Sha’abi / Baladi Travel through the groovy sha’abi hits of the 70s/80s/90s and experience the playful, earthy spirit of retro sha’abi & baladi. Learn how to interpret these songs with sass, attitude, grounded movement, and the joyful character that defined this era on stage and in the streets.
