to Caravan of Dancers XIII
We are honored to welcome the incredible Lebanese Simon to this year's Caravan of Dancers XIII in Orlando! Originally from Lebanon and now based in California, Simon is an internationally acclaimed performer, instructor, and choreographer celebrated for his passion, authenticity, and captivating stage presence. With a career dedicated to preserving and sharing the richness of Lebanese culture through dance, Simon has inspired audiences and students around the world with his artistry, energy, and deep cultural knowledge.
This year, Simon will lead two exciting workshops that showcase both the modern and traditional sides of Middle Eastern dance: a high-energy Pop Sharqi workshop filled with musicality, expression, and stage presence, and an authentic Lebanese Debke workshop where dancers will experience the powerful rhythms, formations, and joyful spirit of one of the Arab world's most beloved folkloric traditions.
Pop Sharki Workshop:
Bring the excitement of today's Arab music scene to life with Lebanese Simon's energetic Pop Sharqi workshop! Blending the elegance of Raqs Sharqi with the charisma and musicality of contemporary Arabic pop, this class focuses on dynamic combinations, expressive styling, and stage presence that captivate any audience. Debke Workshop:
