Fusion Gitana is excited to spotlight Faell Rabelo, a dazzling talent hailing from Brazil, making his teaching debut in the United States at this year's Caravan of Dancers X in Orlando. Having previously toured the U.S. alongside Egyptian superstar Mohamed Ramadan, Faell brings a fresh, dynamic presence to the dance scene. This is a unique opportunity to learn from an artist who has captivated audiences worldwide but has never before offered workshops on American soil.

Faell is set to lead two phenomenal workshops, each showcasing a different aspect of his versatile dance repertoire:

 

Lebanese Debke Workshop:

Step into the spirited world of Lebanese Debke, a traditional dance that embodies the heart and soul of Lebanese culture. Known for its strong, stomping feet and synchronized movements, Debke is a celebration of community and resilience. Faell’s workshop will introduce participants to the energetic steps and formations of this folk dance, offering a taste of Lebanon's rich heritage and communal spirit.

Saidi Workshop:

Explore the rustic charm of the Egyptian countryside with the Saidi workshop. Originating from the Sa'id region in Upper Egypt, Saidi dance is characterized by its vigorous rhythms and the use of the assaya (cane), symbolizing the grace and agility of the rural fellahin (peasants/people of the land). Faell will guide you through the powerful yet graceful movements of Saidi, revealing the dance's deep roots in the traditions and daily life of the Egyptian people.
